Solid, athletic, and with a free and open temperament, Moxy is as good natured a dog as you will ever see. He is not handler hard in any way. Anyone can handle him and he can have any kind of social contact with anyone. Perfect super temperament.
Obedience is super nice, very attentive, easy to control, and for a large powerful dog he is sensitive to the handler. He is trained to a BH level.
Concerning protection work, he does grip and is very strong. His grips are full and hard. His prey drive overides agression, but the decoy can tap into his agression without difficulty. Again he is easy to handle in protection.
Moxy's prey drive for an object is extreme, whether it is a ball, tug, bite wedge, or kong. He is methodical in his searching and is not hectic.
He has not had any tracking training but his drive for food is extreme. Oddly, his is neutured, but this does not negatively affect his work. He has full intact dentation but does have one little nick on the edge of one ear. He is environmentally sound with slick floors and gunfire. He was raised in a house with a family, so he is housebroken and no problem with cats or little dogs. He likes his crate and also loves to ride in a vehicle.
Moxy is not AKC registered as yet because he was born in Argentina, sold to a Brit and then moved to the USA. He is fully registered with POA, has a certified four generation pedigree and can be AKC registered no problem. We own his full brother and have registered him with the AKC. It is just a matter of doing the proper paperwork.
