Are you pressed for time? Would you like a well-behaved dog now? Comet Canine offers boarding and training at our location for the fastest way to get your dog trained NOW! By investing in a Comet Canine In-Kennel Training package you get the benefit of having a fully trained dog, without having to invest a lot of time from your busy schedule.
Dog Camp
Duration: 21 days
An intensive three week program custom-tailored to meet your dog's training needs. We'll consult with you before the program to develop realistic goals that we can meet during the time we have your pet. Common Applications include:
- Basic Obedience: (Sit, Down, Stay, Come, Heel)
- Manners: (No Jumping, No Pulling, Go to your bed)
- Advanced Obedience
- Off-Leash Work
- Behavior Modification
- Specialty Applications: (Tracking, Protection, Assistance)
Purpose: To train your dog for you, while boarding at our facility. We will return a fully trained dog to you, with minimum time and effort on your part.
Includes: Three Followup Lessons, Free Access to Drop-In Classes, Free Phone and Email Support
Spot Training
Duration: 7 days
A one week program designed to work on one particular training issue, or to brush up on skills your dog already knows. Common Applications include:
- Pulling on Leash
- Jumping on People
- Brushup of old skills
- Introduction of new commands
- Maintanance training while boarding
Purpose: To provide a short-term board and train program suitable for 'spot training' applications.
Includes: One Followup Lesson, Free Access to Drop-In Classes, Free Phone and Email Support
Policies: Please note that our in-kennel slots fill up quickly. While we will try to accomodate last-minute requests, we recommend that you book your in-kennel package at least 2 weeks in advance during normal times, and 3-4 weeks in advance for holiday periods. We require a $200 deposit to reserve your kennel slot. We also require hard copies of up-to-date vaccination records for Rabies, Kennel Cough, and Parvo. Payment plans are available.
