Tim Cruser
Comet Trainer, Champion World Schutzhund Team Member and Coach
In 1981, after nearly a decade of dog training and very successful AKC obedience competition, Tim completed an eight-week professional dog training course at Canine Command Dogs under Mr. Jack Healy in New York City. He received 100% on the final exam covering animal behavior, vet-tech lab work, kennel management, sales, and pro dog training. Tim returned to his home in Virginia to establish Cruser's School For Dogs in Rustburg, Va.
Cruser's School for Dogs was a successful full service boarding, grooming, and training facility. With a reputation built on integrity and excellent training results, CSFD annual revenues grew. IN 1989 CSFD built a new facility, earning and maintaining a reputation in the tri-state area for professional dog training at its best. Traveling to conduct dog training seminars in the United States and Argentina lead tim to relocate to Denver, CO in the Fall of 2002.
Tim's experience enables him to provide many unique and varied services. Training solutions including:
- Unique customized obedience training for pet owners
- Management and solution programs for mal-behaviors in pet dogs from animal aggression to destructive chewing, and anything else you can think of
- Trained dogs in homes, businesses, and police departments
- Domestic and international shipment of dogs and cats for clients that relocate
Since 1980, Tim has also bred world class German Shepherd Dogs under the kennel name Willowind and is an AKC Canine Good Citizenship Evaluator (#4401).

- 23 years of PROFESSIONAL experience instructing, training, coaching individual and group canine training.
- Numerous TV appearances, public & private demonstrations.
- Coached handler/dog teams to the SchH3 World Championship, reaching 19th Place in the World.
- Trained dogs for celebrity clients - Oscar winning actress Jessica Lange, recording artist, Mary Chapin Carpenter, skin care entrepreneur/ millionaire, Jan Tana and renown German Artist, Beatrice Utz.
- Private consulting for businesses & police departments regarding their canine programs.
From 1991-2002 conducted numerous domestic and international training seminars on:

Tim has personally trained thousands of dogs, over 130 breeds, innumerable mixed breeds, and over two dozen wolf hybrids. There isn't a behavior problem that he has not seen and he is able to provide successful solutions to the vast majority of these problems.
