The price of a Comet Canine dog is dependent upon the custom skills required by our clients. Please contact us for a quote.
We understand that acquiring one of our custom-trained Service Dogs can pose a financial challenge for some individuals. Comet Canine will work with our clients to help them secure the funding necessary to acquire the dog they need.
Making an investment in a highly trained Service Dog from Comet is analogous to purchasing other adaptive equipment such as wheelchairs (up to $12,000) or lift-equipped conversion vans (up to $75,000). Our price is consistent with the cost many non-profit Service Dog organizations incur to finish and place a Service Dog.
Clients are often unaware of the considerable investment Comet Canine must make to produce a high quality, custom-trained Service Dog. Some of our costs include dog purchase, trainer salaries, equipment, food, transportation, veterinary care, advertising and ongoing business expenses.
